This fund was created by Mayor Asher after he was re-elected for his 2nd term in July of 2024. He wanted to continue fundraising for rescues throughout his 12 months of Mayorship.
The animal rescue which is chosen by the future winner of the 2025 Apopka Dog Mayor Election will be awarded this fund. This will be added to the donations raised during campaign season.
